New Clients

Scheduling Your First Session

We can only accept new clients who reside in Illinois.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we are offering video sessions only until further notice. You do not need to do anything differently when scheduling. 

We recommend allowing a day or two between the time you schedule and the session time so we can make the process as smooth and easy as possible. Please ensure you’re selecting New Client Assessment for individual therapy or New Couple Assessment for couples therapy.

The scheduler will not allow you to schedule a session less than 12 hours away, so if it says you need to call a phone number, please select a time 1-2 days out.

Shortly after you request your session time, you’ll receive an email asking you to log in to the portal to fill out some important information for us. If you don’t receive an email within one business day, please check your spam folder. If it’s not there, please reach out to us.

We need that information in order to confirm your first session. It includes insurance details if you’re using insurance and signing our informed consent documents. Please make sure the therapist you’re selecting can accept your insurance, or let us know if you’re going to request our sliding scale.
