My Bio

I got my BA in English and Philosophy from Lake Forest College, spent ten years in corporate America, and then fled to work at a yoga studio and complete my MA in Counseling Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) and I teach barre as well. I have completed Level Three of the Gottman Method training, and am working on my final certification. I am also a trained Seven Principles Educator.

I was born and raised in Chicago, and I love this city. I’m a yogi, foodie, and animal lover. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and cats, doing yoga or barre or Pilates, writing, reading, cooking, going to restaurants or classes with friends, seeing movies or plays, crafting, and getting tattoos.
