My mission is to help you live a satisfying, vital life. I help individuals and relationships overcome that inertia, getting out of painful cycles and into healthier ones. I use evidence-based practices to collaborate with you and bring the mind and heart into balance again through a balance of mindfulness, humor, compassion, insight-building, skills training, and connection.

Individual Counseling

I specialize in helping adults recover from trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, and grief. I work extensively with creative adults and the LGBTQ community.

Couples Counseling

I help distressed couples learn to repair conflict, navigate disagreements effectively, communicate better, increase positivity in the relationship, and meet each others’ needs.

My worst nightmare as a therapist is creating a false dependence. This is your therapy, your life, your relationship(s), not my arbitrary gold standard of what Mental Health (TM) looks like. Therapy is a team effort.
